Reports have it that upcoming streaming platform Disney+ are developing a new television show for the most underrated Avenger Hawkeye. You may remember him as the “Arrow guy” from the avengers team.
Jeremy Renner has played the character in the live action adaptation since 2012’s The Avengers. And since 2011 if you’re counting his uncredited role in Thor( 2011). He will be making a return to the role in a near future Hawkeye TV show.
However, the details on the series are a bit scarce at the moment, Although Variety describe the premise of the show as an “adventure series” and will see Clint Barton “pass the torch” to Kate Bishop.
In the comic books, Clint Barton (Hawkeye) was killed off following a story where Scarlett witch murdered him. It then shows Kate Bishop taking over the place of Hawkeye. Even after Clint was revived and took back his Hawkeye name, Kate continued using the moniker as her own. (How’s that for a headstrong heroine?)
