The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has been thrown into mourning as its National President, Ibrahim Khaleel died on Wednesday, October 7. A gas explosion has on Thursday rocks Best Roof gas station at the Unity bus stop, Candos, Baruwa inside, Lagos State destroying houses, trucks, cars, others. As part of efforts to reduce infant and maternal mortality rate in Oyo State, the State Government has on Wednesday launched the ‘T’ỌMỌ T’ÌYÁ Initiative. The programme, which was inaugurated at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, was equally aimed at improving the quality of reproductive, maternal, neonatal and child healthcare across the state. The Onitsha seaport has become functional forty years after as it was commissioned on Tuesday, October 6 with Videos and photos from the scene showing containers being offloaded.
