Following the disciplinary issues that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had last weekend, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta makes decision regarding the players status as captain of the team.
Arteta makes decision over Aubameyang and captaincy
Thankfully for the Gabonese striker, the coach has decided that he will not take Aubameyang off captaincy duties. This is according to the UK Sun.
Aubameyang was only named on the bench for the North London Derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday after breaking club rules by arriving late to a team meeting held ahead of the game.
The club captain looked particularly livid on the bench throughout the game at the Emirates Stadium.
He also chose not to take part in the post-match warm down, instead deciding to leave the Stadium early.

There had been suggestions that Arteta would strip Aubameyang of the captaincy as further punishment for his insubordination.
Arteta, however, feels that the issue has been dealt with, and there would be no need for further punishment for his captain.
