The Nigerian Army has made more progress in its fight against insurgency in the country, killing 20 Boko Haram Terrorists in Borno State.
In a publication by Army Major General John Enenche, the group was intercepted by the troops of operation Lafiya Dolie at the northwest part of Baga town on the 17th of May on their way to attack the villages surrounding Baga.
The BHT / ISWAP criminals were attacked with overwhelming power by the troops, killing 20 of the criminals. The troops recorded some injuries to soldiers, with nine of them sent to the sector 3 hospital for treatment.
A total of six AK 47 rifles, 520 rounds of special ammunition and five 36 hand grenades were recovered from the group by the troops also.
