The All Progressives Congress, APC has reportedly spent millions of naira on prayers to solve insecurity in Nigeria. The ruling party organised a National Prayer in 13 states of the federation.
According to reports, the APC took the National prayers to Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi, Gombe, Borno, Rivers, Ekiti, Osun, Anambra, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun and Abuja.
A source revealed that the National Youth Leader of the party, Ismaeel Ahmed, sponsored the prayer with millions of naira.
According to the source, the party spent millions of naira on prayers to tackle insecurity instead of equipping the security forces and improving the welfare of the security personnel to boost their morale.

EveryEvery.ng gathered that the North-West National Leader of the APC, Alhaji Sadiq Sa’ad Fakai, prayed for wisdom for President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders.
Speaking after the prayers, Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Sama’ila Yombe, said Nigerians must submit to Almighty Allah, act rightfully, and seek His forgiveness to overcome the nation’s challenges.
He further tasked the youths to intensify prayers for peace, unity and mutual understanding.
