British-Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has participated in a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest in the United Kingdom.
The death of African-American, George Floyd by a white cop, Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, United States of America has led to many protest by blacks people all over the world.
The message against racism has spread more in recent week. Many organizations, as well as celebrities all over the world, has made their voices known.

Cardi B, Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, J. Cole, are few of American celebrities that have taken part in this protest tagged #blacklivesmatter in the United States. Footballers such as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Thuram, and Paul Pogba have also passed a strong message against racism as well as calling for justice for the departed George Floyd.
British actor, John Boyega made an emotional speech in another protest in the United Kingdom. Anthony Joshua is the recent well-known face to make his voice heard over the deadly issues of racism in our world.

World boxing champion, Anthony Joshua joined a community of black protesters in the UK to say no to racism. The sport man was seen on crutches as he joined the protest in Watford.
Reading from his note, the Nigerian born-British boxer made his voice heard with some advice for the black community.

He said ”We can no longer, from today onward be pushed. We can no longer sit back and remain silent on senseless and unlawful killing, racism on what ? The skin color. We need to speak and have a peaceful demonstration just like today”
The Nigerian-born boxer frowned against looting and violence in the name of protest as it will not bring back the lives lost.
He used the opportunity to advice the black community to invest in their own business and say no to gangster culture. His last message goes thus ”Stop the virus…. the virus is racism”
