A Lekki massacre survivor identifies as Ephraim has recounted his experience at the shooting that occurred in Lagos, last week.
The Nigerian-British social activist said he could not believe that he made it out of that situation alive.
He said,
“After seeing bodies being thrown into the truck, I felt I was going to die there. I’m yet to process what I lived through in the past three days.”
Ephraim admitted that he does not know how exactly he feels following that recent but one thing he knew was that the truth had to be told.
He said that while some were doubting the validity of that unfortunate event, there were still victims who had not been identified.
He said that morning after the shooting saw to the identification of more gunshot victims.
Ephraim spoke about the current state of leadership in the country and finding ways to avoid more loss of lives.
