Shevchenko said Denmark doesn’t have the firepowers to stop England from making it through the final of Euro 2020. Both teams will be playing against each other at Wembley on Wednesday, and he has tipped England to win the clash against Denmark.
According to him, after his team was beaten 4-0, he said: “I think that England played very pragmatically today.” “They used their strong flanks, they used our mistakes, and they played very well, at a top-level.” “They controlled the game, but there were episodes where we made mistakes, and we couldn’t really do anything in return really.”
The former winger said England really outplayed them even though they had some chances, but the Englishmen showed class, and so he does not see Denmark, who beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in their own quarter-final class, as a strong opponent to stop England.
