Hamza Al-Mustapha, one of the loyal boys and former Aide to the late Military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, has been confirmed as the Presidential Candidate of the Action Alliance, AA party.
HAl-Mustapha clearly won the presidential ticket of the ActionAlliance party and is now the flag bearer, as his votes acquired, surpassed that of his other contender, overwhelmingly.
The election happened yesterday in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, and he performed exceedingly well by defeating his opponent with up to five hundred and six (506) votes.
His counterpart, Samson Odupitan, however, could not match his opponent and congratulated him when the results were announced immediately after the whole event.
2 Aspirants Withdraw for Al-Mustapha
Earlier, it was gathered that two other contestants, Tunde Anifowose and Felix Osakwe got to give up their positions to Mustapha and stepped aside from the presidential race i.n hopes that when the new flag bearer’s political ambition comes to fruition, they are likely to get a seat at the table.
