The Lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Akin Alabi has shared marketing strategy which he considered as good enough to attract customers.
Alabi, who is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist in a post on his official Twitter handle, advised his followers to adopt the word FREE as a strategy to market their brand or products.
The tweet reads “The most important word in marketing and advertising is FREE.
No matter what you sell. No matter which market you operate in. No matter the class of your target market. You should be using the word FREE in exchange for people’s email addresses.

He further revealed that one of the strategies he used for selling his book is giving readers free access to the first two chapters of the book.
“One of the techniques I use in selling my book is by giving away two chapters of the book for FREE. Because I know the book is fantastic, I knew that once people read the first two chapters, they will want more.

In another tweet, the lawmaker notified state governors on how to demonstrate to people the advantage of paying personal Income Tax.
He said “Once again, I say to the 36 governors in Nigeria, this is the time to show people it is good to pay Personal Income Tax.
