Nigerian activist and one of the leading voices during the nationwide EndSARS protests, Aisha Yesufu, has rain curses on President Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly ordering the killing of protesters in Lekki Tollgate, Lagos State, on October 20 2021.
In a tweet, Aisha Yesufu alleged that President Buhari-led administration ordered the shooting and killing of innocent protesters precisely nine months ago.
Aisha added that the blood of the innocent EndSARS protesters would haunt Buhari till the end of time. She noted that the President shall hear their wailing and the anguish of their families.
She alleged that President Buhari government ordered the military men to shoot and kill EndSARS protesters in 2020. You will recall that some Nigerian youths had late last October staged protests in major towns and cities in the country to demand the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

You will recall that the United Nations, UN reacted to the EndSARS protests in Nigeria, describing it as legitimate.
The UN also reiterated its support for the EndSARS protesters’ agitations for social justice and good governance.
Deputy Secretary-General of the UN, Ms Amina Mohammed, stated this during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari. However, Mohammed, who led a UN delegation to the President, stressed the need for such agitations to be pursued peacefully.
According to Mohammed, the entire organisation was alarmed by the protests’ weight and the consequent level of destruction. Furthermore, she opined that the reform of the security sector has become imperative.
