A top Presidency official has confirmed that Nigeria’s first lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari has been flown to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates for treatment of severe neck pain.
The first lady was reportedly flown out of the country during the Sallah holiday last week after complaining of neck pain for about two weeks before that time.
It was gathered that the neck pain started shortly after she visited Florence Ajimobi, widow of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died of COVID-19 complications on June 25, 2020.
Also, The PUNCH said a top Presidential aide revealed that Mrs Buhari had severe neck pain during the 2019 Presidential electioneering.

The aide confirmed that she sought treatment abroad afterwards adding that the pain recently returned and was even worse than the first time.
However, Mrs Buhari’s spokesman, Aliyu Abdullah, said he was not aware whether his principal was out of the country adding that he has not been to the Villa for the last two weeks.
