Online research tagged Speedtest has indicated that Nigeria is not among the top nine African countries with the fastest Mobile internet speed.
According to Speedtest Global Index, Morocco has the fastest mobile internet speed in Africa with 35.5 Mbps (megabytes per second) as of June 2020 while South Africa is the second-fastest internet speed in Africa with 33.72 Mbps.
Meanwhile, Morocco stands at number 52 in the world and South Africa sits at number 59 in the world, also, Tunisia is number 70 in the world and 3 in Africa with 28.8 Mbps.
African Countries With Fastest Internet Speed
The research tagged Africa’s Fastest Mobile Internet Speed, 2020, indicated that Angola is number 4 in Africa with (24.61 Mbps) while Mauritius stands at number 5 with (23.93 Mbps).

Other African countries with fast internet speed include Senegal at number 6 with (22.98), Mozambique at number 7 with (21.64), Kenya at number 8 with (21.33) while Botswana stands at number nine with 19.85 Mbps.
