Nollywood actress, Mary Lazarus, has bagged an excellence award in the 2021 National Peace Awards in Abuja.
The actress was awarded the ‘Most Peaceful Actress of the Year’ at the event, which took place on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
The elated actress took to her Instagram page to share this great news with a picture of her receiving the award and plaque.
She feels honoured and also appreciated the organisers of the show for finding her worthy.
The award, which she revealed was received on her behalf by her colleague Fowowe Asanu is set to honour outstanding leaders and institutions that have significantly impacted promoting peace in society.
She wrote: “As we strive to promote peace and cordiality in our society, I’m thrilled to have received the award for being one of the most Peaceful Actors.”
