An Abuja man identified as Nweke Chadikaobi reportedly brutalised a ten-year-old girl named Emmanuel Oluebube for bed-wetting.
For committing the crime against the minor, the Nigerian police swiftly moved to arrest Chadikaobi while he was not suspecting their arrival on Thursday, June 2.
He was picked up at the Range View Estate in the Dawaki area of Abuja, which is according to the Spokesperson of the command, Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the development in a statement issued yesterday in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
She brought it to the public notice that the Commissioner of Police, Babaji Sunday, ordered the arrest of the Abuja man after a video of the abused minor went viral on social media.
The issued statement revealed in detail: “The CP, Babaji Sunday, ordered an immediate investigation and arrest of the suspect and the rescue of the minor for medical attention and other forms of intervention needed in the protection of her human rights and dignity.”
