Top in the list of places to visit here is the Ibom E-Library.it is a library located in the state’s capital, Uyo. The library is first of its kind in West Africa. Built by the former governor of the state, Godswill Akpabio, it is a place to be reckoned with. The E-Library has a multi-functional Conference Center used for conferences and summits. The library also accommodates small startups as an incubation system.
Another edifice built in the state is Akwa Ibom International stadium nicknamed ‘Nest of Champions’. It is built just like Allianz Arena, the home ground of European giants, Bayern Munich. It is a 30,000-seater capacity stadium which has hosted the national team in several occasions. The famous La Liga side, Athletico Madrid Football Club has also graced this sporting complex. There are several other sporting facilities in the multipurpose sport complex.
