BBNaija star, Natacha Akide Tacha talks about marriage on social media.
The entrepreneur spoke about her thoughts on the idea of marriage in her Instagram stories hours ago.
This was following the reports of a news reporter battering his wife and their reconciliation and observers concluded that Tacha may be making these comments because of the recent happening especially with the timing of her post.
Tacha went on a rant asking that Africans refrain from attaching so much importance to marriage, especially for women. According to the BBNaija star , it is just two rings and two adults. She said that Marriage is not a do or die affair because it is just rings and two people.
Finally, after stating that marriage was not a priority, Tacha advised that if the ‘marriage thing’ was not working for anyone, they should leave.
She wrote,
“stop pushing the Narrative that women need this “Marriage” thing more. It’s not a BIG deal!! And I hate the fact we’ve been Brainwashed over time.
Marriage isn’t/shouldn’t be a PRIORITY. It is not a DO/DIE AFFAIR! Y’all just stop attaching this much important to the “union”. It is RINGS and 2Adults. IT IS NOT A PRIORITY. The Lame Ass mentality needs to STOP!
