West Ham United make Norway striker Joshua King chase to help bolster manager David Moyes‘ squad. Following the departure of Brazilian star Felipe Anderson to Porto on loan and fellow midfielder Jack Wilshere was released, the Hammers only have 20 senior players and so they need a major striker.
The 28-year-old was linked to Manchester United in January and has been identified by West Ham, with Moyes looking for a forward, as well as a central defender and, potentially, a midfielder. The Hammers tried to set up a number of deals before the international transfer deadline passed on Monday.
They are also looking to land Chelsea’s England defender Fikayo Tomori they made a last-minute approach fr the player but it was turned down by Chelsea before the window closed.
