Niger Tornadoes midfield marshal, Ayo Adetola was named the Man of the Match in the match day 13th fixture. The Niger team hosted the former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Champion Enugu rangers. In an encounter that ended in a draw note. A game which was played over the weekend at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in minna, home to Niger Tornadoes.

Furthermore, despite the draw, Ayo caught the eyes of the spectators and was named the Man of the Match for the second time this season to reward him for a yeoman’s job. Although, Niger Tornadoes having a total of 10 points out of 13 matches are at the bottom of Group A in the NPFL.
In an interview with him after the match. He however said “I will gladly trade this for a win. I am sad that we didn’t get all the 3 points. It hurts a lot despite the award by the fans. We have to work hard. And take it one match at a time and make sure we get every possible point from each game and also keep putting more efforts to make sure we escape relegation.
