That victory saw the Briton avenge the first defeat of his professional career, in New York last June.
Pulev, who is the mandatory challenger for Joshua’s IBF title, pulled out of a scheduled meeting with the Briton in 2017 due to injury.
The boxer who visited Nigeria recently was one of those who backed Tyson Fury to defeat Deontay Wilder when the boxers had a rematch on 22nd of February.
However, Tyson Fury and dethroned world champion Deontay Wilder will stage the next leg of their fight trilogy in July at the Las Vegas venue where their rematch took place.
Wilder officially exercised his right to another fight against Fury, and the plan is to have it on July 18 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The news comes a little over a week after Britain’s Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round of their heavyweight title rematch in Las Vegas.
