Nigerian relationship influencer Blessing CEO has returned to the public eye after spending several months in detention over allegations involving different fraud cases.
News of her release became public on Saturday, October 24, 2026, after Nollywood actress Doris Ogala shared a video of herself speaking with Blessing on a video call. Celebrating the development, Doris expressed excitement and thanked God for her release.
Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, had been in custody since June while facing separate cases involving alleged property fraud, tenancy fraud and claims related to money reportedly collected over a cancer diagnosis. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the cases remain before the courts.
Although bail was granted in some of the cases, she reportedly remained in custody while dealing with the conditions attached to her release.
Her time in detention was also marked by a painful personal loss. Reports say she lost her second son while in custody, adding to the difficult period she was experiencing.
Following news of her release, social media users began reacting to the development, with some welcoming her back while others discussed the legal issues she still faces.
The influencer later spoke with Doris Ogala about rumours circulating online, including allegations of drug use. Blessing denied the claims, saying she does not smoke, drink alcohol or attend parties.
Despite regaining her freedom, the legal cases against Blessing CEO have not automatically ended. Her release does not mean she has been found innocent, as the allegations will still be addressed through the court process.
For now, attention remains on her return to public life and the next steps in the ongoing cases.
