The simmering tension in the household of billionaire politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has taken a shocking new turn as his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, publicly accused her co-wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to hard drugs and engaging in lesbian relationships.

In a scathing post shared via her Instagram page, Charani alleged that Daniels was the root cause of her brief struggle with drug addiction years ago. According to her, she narrowly saved her marriage only through her husband’s intervention after being led down a “dark path” by the actress.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” Laila wrote.
Charani went on to accuse Regina Daniels of being a negative influence within the family, claiming that she introduced drugs to domestic workers, including her own younger sister, Destiny. The Moroccan beauty added that Daniels’ ongoing dispute with their husband stems from his alleged insistence that she quit drugs and alcohol, habits Laila claims the lawmaker neither partakes in nor condones.
“She has been a bad influence since she married into this family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers. You infested everyone with your virus, and this is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised,” Laila wrote, further alleging that Regina “was sleeping with every single girl around her.”
The shocking allegations have sparked intense reactions on social media, with fans and followers of both women taking sides in the unfolding drama. Laila urged Regina Daniels to “seek psychological help” and stop dragging other wives into her alleged problems with their husband.
As of the time of filing this report, Regina Daniels has not issued any response to the claims.
The revelations mark the latest in a series of public controversies surrounding the polygamous household of the Delta-born senator and his young Nollywood wife, a relationship that has consistently drawn media attention since their marriage in 2019.
