The National Identity Management Commission, NIMC has explained how Nigerians could link their sim cards to the National Identification Number, NIN by using the NIMC Mobile App.
According to the Commission, the move is part of efforts to discourage the large gathering of people at the different registration centers given the rise in the COVID-19 cases in the country.
Meanwhile, the Commission said only those people with NIN can navigate the NIMC Mobile App adding that everybody is permitted to link up to 7 devices with Nigerian registered mobile numbers to their NIN via phones (read more here).
