Laycon’s show, I am Laycon, was the first original series released on Showmax and has broken the record of being the show with the highest first-day streams on the platform.
The first five episodes of the show were released on the 11th of February, 2021 and have made history in barely ten days of its release. This was disclosed by Showmax‘s Public Relations Officer, Mr Onna Okafor.
Not just garnering the highest first-day streams, the show has also maintained the number-one spot on the streaming platform’s most popular category. It was aired in several countries including;

THe BBNaija Season 5 winner broke the last season’s voting records with over 200% increase. In season 4 of the Big Brother Show raked in a total of 240 million votes but laycon topped that with 660 million votes after bringing in 900 million votes.
