Nigerian award-winning singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba has visited the gravesite of late musician Sound Sultan.
2baba shared a clip of his visit on his Instagram page on Monday, in the company of three friends.
In tribute to the deceased, the legendary music icon, alongside friends of the musician, placed flowers on the tombstone of Sound Sultan.
2baba captioned, “Went to pay my respect to my brother Sound Sultan. With my brothers @emmaugolee @amfrankiej @blackahrank.
“July 11, world Sultan day. Blessed #grateful #warrior. We miss you my dear friend @soundsultan. Olanrewaju Fasasi. Bless up.”
Sound Sultan, christened Olanrewaju Fasasi, died on July 2021 after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
44-year-old Sound Sultan is survived by wife, Farida Fasasi, and their three children.
