Recently there is tension in the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu as a result of many health workers testing positive to COVID-19. According to the story, 25 doctors, nurses and other non-health workers have been asked to go into self-isolation after a nurse in the hospital tested positive to COVID-19.

According to the reports, there is speculation that the nurse contracted the disease from her husband who reportedly tested positive to coronavirus earlier in the week. All the workers who had any form of contact with the suspecting.
Dr Ike Okwesili, State Chairman Nigerian Medical Association admonished health workers to pay extra attention to precaution. He however noted that more hospitals might possibly be affected in the long run.
