2023 Presidential Election is by the corner, and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed interest in participating in the race.
The former Abia State Governor/Senate Chief Whip took a step further and met with President Muhammadu Buhari to brief him on his plans to contest come 2023.
Kalu posted his meeting with the President on his Social Media platform on Tuesday, disclosing that his ambition to run for the position is to succeed Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Further stating his reasons for meeting with the President, the ambitious politician who is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, hinted that he also discussed some pertinent national issues/
He noted that his meeting with the President was fruitful, adding that Buhari is in really good health and that their discussions ended at 10 pm as they look forward to having a better Nigeria.
Other Presidential hopefuls like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Dave Umahi have also met with Buhari to express their interest in partaking in the elections.
