The supporters of Peter Obi’s presidential ambition have opened a crowd-fund campaign for the former Governor of Anambra state.
The Chief Executive Officer of BudgIT, Mr Seun Onigbinde, has launched a campaign to crowd-fund N10 billion for Peter Obi’s presidential ambition after declaring his intention to join the 2023 presidential race.
In a tweet shared on Tuesday, the tech expert noted that a GoFundMe account would help the ambition of 60-year-old politician against the so-called ‘Money Bags’.
The tweet read, “A N10bn GoFundMe for Peter Obi will be a great starter for those who want to crowdsource Nigeria’s next leader. This will change the dynamics with the space hijacked by moneybags.”
Obi would be contesting for the presidential seat with the likes of Bola Tinubu, Rochas Okorocha, Orji Kalu, Dele Momodu and a host of others who have declared their intentions for 2023.
