Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie has accepted God’s call to become a minister and a preacher of the word.
The 40-year-old made this known on Wednesday in a video shared on his youtube channel, Yul Edochie TV.
The former presidential aspirant claimed that he has had the calling for a long time, but he is now ready to take up the ministerial mantle.
“I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to be one of God’s ministers (sic), to preach the word of God through words and actions,” the father of four stated.
The husband of two women, May Edochie and Judy Austin, further revealed that God blessed him with fame so he could use it for God’s ministry.
“God has blessed me in this life. By God’s grace, I’ve become one of the biggest, and one of the most celebrated actors in the continent of Africa. God has taken me to a very high point in my career.
“I’m starting to realise God lifted me as an actor to where I am so that I can become one of his ministers,” he said.
The son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has been caught in the web of controversy in recent times after he took a second wife.
Judy Austin became a second wife to the actor after the extramarital affair between them bore them a son.
