Some youths in Niger state have warned the state government over the delay in sharing the COVID-19 palliatives.
The youths gave the warning during a stakeholders’ meeting in the state capital.
According to the youths, they did not want to disrupt the sharing of the food items.
At the meeting, the youths said they knew all the locations where foods were being kept.
However, they demanded prompt action to end the suffering in the state.
The Chairman, Northern Coalition of the Youths, Comrade Mohammed Mohammed lamented that they had been taken for granted in recent years.
Mohammed said the youths were unhappy with the state government.
He said the government has failed to address the problem of unemployment and police brutality.
Meanwhile, the convener of the meeting, Ambassador Dada, called on people of the state to shun any form of violence,
However, he stressed that violent will not in anyway solve the existing problems confronting the nation.
