A group of Alimosho Youths in Lagos State has called on Nigerian to come to the aid of some victims of the Tuesday, October 20, 2020 shooting at the Lekki Tollgate area of the state.
According to the group, some of the unarmed protesters who were said to have been shot by men in the Nigerian army uniform are still fighting for their lives on hospital bed.
In a tweet, the initiative announced that there is an urgent need for blood donations for some of the victims, while they need information about some of the victims who might be in other hospitals across the state and might be in need of blood transfusion.
#AlimoshoProtests@IBRAHEEYM “Good morning guys, this is our own little way of helping out. 1) If you’re aware of any hospitals that are currently treating #EndSARS shooting/violence victims and require blood urgently. 2) If you’re willing to donate blood, help out or volunteer in anyway. Please DM me ASAP”
This is coming after the state governor, Babjide Sanwo-Olu saw seen in an inspection tour so a hospital in the state where he was told that all the victims of the shooting admitted in the hospital have all been discharged.
