Nigerian singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burnaboy has praised singer, Wizkid, in a new viral video.
The 2019 Grammy nominee has earlier launched his fifth studio album, ‘Twice As Tall’ in London, the United Kingdom with some families and friends in attendance.
Wizkid and the ‘African Giant’ has now linked up together to celebrate the release of the album which has got people talking.
Fans of both artists have tried to do a comparison about who is the ‘King of Afrobeat‘; an African music genre popularized by Fela-Anikulapo-Kuti. Wizkid, Davido, and Burnaboy has helped to push the genre to the world in recent years and have got fans comparing the trio.
Wizkid’s whose ‘Made In Lagos‘ album which is said to have ‘Oluwaburna’ as a guest artist is yet to be released after a couple of years of its announcement.
Nigerians who have waited so much for the album has now shifted their attention to Burnaboy whose album is getting more streams by the day all over the world.
Burnaboy said in a new video post with Wizkid has now showered praise on Wizkid to calm the nerves of fans who have tried to cause enmity between them.
Burnaboy said ‘‘You have nothing to prove again”. This has got fans and followers of both artists to make their comment on the statement.
