Following the temporary shutdown of the social media Apps, Whatsapp, Instagram, and Facebook, Yomi casual has alerted 21st-century celebrities.
The popular fashion designer, Yomi Casual via his instagram story said the shut down of the Micro-blogging applications should serve as a lesson to the 21st-century celebrities who rely on social media for livelihood.
He further wrote that they are nothing without the media, so they should respect those who made it without the help of social media applications.
Recall that on Monday evening, 5 Pm Nigerian time, the Apps suffered from an outage that lasted for over six hours, and users of the app took to other apps, Twitter, Telegram and others, to react to this.
This shutdown is marked the worst since 2008, when the Facebook app shut down for a day but had fewer users.
Before the apps came back online, Facebook apologised to the users of the apps that depended on them.
They also added that they were working hard to restore access to the apps and services and are happy to report the Apps are coming back online.
