The governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello had just received delivery of multiple coronavirus test kits without approval from NCDC. The special antigen-based test kits as claimed by the officials of Kogi State, reveals that it shows results for coronavirus in 30 minutes.

According to the officials, these particular type of test kits are uncommon and they reveal results with a high degree of accuracy. The state claims this move is to overcome the use of faulty testing facilities of the NCDC. Kogi state officials also claim that the NCDC is manufacturing padded numbers of coronavirus cases in Nigeria and they are not going to let Kogi state and its residents become victims to the antics of the NCDC.
