According to the professor, stated that the massacre on St. Francis Catholic Church, where many worshippers were killed, is ‘a message to the entire people of South-West.’
Yesterday, WoleSoyinka said this when he paid a condolence visit to the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, where he noted that the terror attack was targeted at the governor.
The Noble Laureate winner mentioned that the Governor had been liberating the people of South-West from all shackles and has shown true leadership capabilities, making his a target.

He said, “It was not an accident and it passed a message to the rest of us. That is why I’m here. I want the governor to know that we have received the message. We understand it and we came to sympathise with him that he was selected as a medium of that message.“
