A Nobel Laureate and one of the foremost elder statesmen in the country, Prof. Wole Soyinka questions President Muhammadu Buhari’s control and has sternly insisted that the President is not in control of the country.
Soyinka made this assertion while speaking on a program on Arise TV on Thursday.
Wole Soyinka Questions Buhari’s Control because of the rise in insecurity
According to him, if President Buhari is actually in charge of affairs, then the insecurity in Nigeria would not be anything near as terrible as what it is now.
Soyinka, whose compound in Abeokuta, Ogun State was invaded by Fulani herdsmen this week, accused Buhari of neither appreciating nor understanding the situation. The president seemingly cannot see how terrible and grave the problem is.
