Ike and Mercy
The relationship between Mercy and Ike is something that has drawn a lot of people to them, but that relationship might be going through so much than ordinary eyes can see.
Since Mercy won the 2019 edition of the BBNaija show, Ike has been described as so many things including a gold digger, because he wanted a share of the N60million worth of prizes Mercy won.
The part Ike played in her victory was obvious to all, especially when he gave her all his coins so that Mercy could buy herself immunity during the last few days of the show.
Mercy’s fame and the business grew without bounds immediately she left the show and Ike has been identifying with her successes and somehow that has been paying off.
Part of that is the reality TV show they both have, tagged “What Next.” The power couple sure look good together, but right now, there are storms rocking their boat.
On the latest edition of the show, Ike complained about how he gets several calls from people asking him of what he is still doing in his relationship.
According to him, he has been thinking of taking the relationship to the next level, while his family members do not know what they want for him, but his fans want him to break up with Mercy.
Seeing how confused he is, he called on Venita, who is a fellow former housemate on BBNaija for advice. He described Venita as a truthful person who is like an elder sister to him.
While he was pouring his heart to Venita, he told her that he sees Mercy as a business partner.
” When I look at Mercy, I just see her like a person I can do business with to make my business grow.”
Wow! Now that is gross. When all you see when you look at your girlfriend is “just a business partner”, I pray she does not hear you say that.
Then Venita asked him of he really wants the relationship to work, he gave another answer that is enough to spoil things.
He said, ” I want my business to grow, I want some money.” Venita who was not sure if he heard her question clearly asked another question.
Do you love her? The Ike goes, “I love money.” Then he said he was tired of the relationship and will not mind ending it.
For Venita, she believed he was lying about ending the relationship, so he proposed a N400,000 bet daring him to break up with Mercy but she was sure he will run back to her in no time.
