It’s unclear what the Boko Haram terrorists are looking for in Chibok community up until now, that they continue with their invasion, even after the negative mark left during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
However, it is no news again to talk about the kidnapped Chibok girls in 2014, but why the terrorists have continued in their undefined quest still bothers the minds of many Nigerians.
The only deducible reason the Boko Haram would not leave the community alone is to take over and place it under one of their conquered settlements.
On Monday night, it was learnt that the insurgents launched yet another attack at Takulashi Shikarkir, a Local Government Area, LGA in Chibok, Borno State, which has almost made residents lose count on the number of times their community has been invaded.
This time, there is yet to be any news about casualties as at the time of filing this report, information received only pointed to the Nigerian troops intervening to avert the invasion.
It was however gathered that the insurgents stormed the area and started shooting uncoordinatedly to cause chaos among residents, destroying properties and causing intense panic.
Residents in their hundreds reportedly fled into the forests for safety, leaving the land they’ve co-existed for years.
