Nigerian music icon, Onyeka Onwenu is set to release a memoir titled ‘My Father’s Daughter.’
The book which is an autobiography of the music veteran is set to be released on the 1st of October, 2020. The singer, in the book, reveals her private life including getting married to a Yoruba Muslim in 1984 and the union produced two sons named Tijani and Ibrahim.
She said, “In this book, I am, perhaps for the very first time, setting the records straight with respect to my connubial relationship. Yes, I was married. I married a man I fell in love with in 1984”
‘My Father’s Daughter‘ which is published by Expand Express Limited will be launched virtually on the same day with Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary.
Onyeka Onwenu is a Nigerian singer/songwriter, actress, human right activist, social activist, journalist, politician, and former X Factor series judge.
