President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has reacted to the social media announcement made by American rapper, Kanye West about his intention to take part in the country’s presidential elections.
Trump described West’s declaration as very interesting adding that he may take part in the presidential race.
The musician has in the past expressed support for Trump before he announced his intention on Twitter.
However, his declaration has generated reactions from many of his fans and followers on the platform with many saying that he didn’t declare his interest on time.
In his reaction, Trump said he would view West’s intention as a trial run for what’s going to happen in four years adding that it may be too late for the rapper to register in some states.

Furthermore, Trump noted that Kanye West lacks the infrastructure for a presidential bid.
You will recall that the rapper visited Trump in his office in 2018 and donned a trademark “Make America Great Again” red baseball cap.
His announcement to run for the US presidency coincides with the country’s Independence Day.
As at the time of filing this report, the Tweet made by West to declare his intention has 1.5 Million likes, 530.7k retweets and 112.4k comments.
Meanwhile, he has not provided details about his campaign and other logistics that are required of him to take part in the elections.
