The Management of the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN has announced that the institution would resume a full academic session on January 11, 2021.
It was gathered that the announcement was contained in a statement issued by the director, corporate affairs of the institution, Kunle Akogun, on Thursday, December 31.
UNILORIN Announces Resumption Date
According to him, the resumption of academic activities followed the Senate’s approval of proposals by the committee of provost and deans in their meeting held on Dec. 30, 2020.
Akogun revealed that other resolutions of the meeting included 13 weeks of lectures and three weeks of Rain Semester examinations.
Meanwhile, he added that there will be only two weeks for marking and computations of results and training of staff on virtual learning between January 4th and 8th 2021 noting that Practical classes will commence after the COVID-19 break.
He noted that lectures will be delivered online in line with the directives of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
