Nigerian Twitter users have come hard on Dapo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj for arresting the lady who accused him of rape.
It could be recalled that a lady named Seyitan came out to accuse the Nigerian famous singer of rape. Although ‘Kokomaster’ who was formerly silent on the issue and have been known to be scandal-free in his music career came out to address the issue in an open letter.
He has since taken further actions by getting the accuser arrested and detained while also suing her 100 million naira for character assasination.
This hasn’t gone well with some social media users especially on the Twitter app as they blast the ‘Fall in Love’ singer while others stood by him.
Twitter Users Comment on Dbanj Arrest of Rape Accuser
Twitter Nigeria users have since used the social media platform to lash ‘Kokomaster’ Dbanj for his actions against the rape accuser named Seyitan.
A particular user @andyRoidO tweeted ”I will tolerate no foolishness on my TL in this Dbanj matter. Instead of facing the serious rape allegations against him, he is trying to use the police in illegal ways to silence the accuser. So he is now compounding rape with false imprisonment”
Another user @DemolaRewaju tweeted ‘‘Terribly disappointed Dbanj had his accuser detained, after he had done the right thing through his lawyers”
This user @_little_god_ has a different view of the matter though as he tweeted ”Buh Nigerians shaaa. If @iamdbanj had also given the girl a soft landing, people would have said Dbanj is trying not to make the case big or create a scene because he’s guilty. Truth is; nothing is hidden forever. Just a matter of days, we’ll know what’s going on”
Time will definitely the truth of the matter and unfolds where this leads to.
