There is palpable fear around Ozoro community of Delta state after men of the Nigerian Police Force found the body of a woman without a head in the area.
Report has it that the headless body of a yet-to-be-identified woman was discovered in an uncompleted building located in Isoko North council of the state.
Spokesperson for the state Police Command, Edafe Bright while confirming the situation stressed that though the culprit of the dastardly act has not been identified nor arrested.
According to him, an investigation has started into unraveling the riddle, adding that the woman must have been attached and her head cut-off.
Edafe also suggested that those responsible for the killing and cutting off of the victim’s head would be ritualists.
The headless corpse was seen been carried away from the scene of the incident where the body of the woman was found in a stretcher by security men.
