National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered 58.5 grams of cocaine and 13.9 grammes of heroin concealed in the palace of a prominent traditional monarch in Anambra State.

On Monday, Femi Babafemi, the spokesman, said the investigation had commenced unravelling how they hid the drugs.
He quoted the Anambra State Commander, Muhammadu Idris, saying the palace security guards are assisting in tracing the dealer behind the consignment.
Also, Hassan Bishi Taiwo was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.

The suspect was caught with three parcels of cocaine tucked in a false bottom created in his suitcase.
Taiwo was intercepted last Friday after arrival at about 1:30 pm. He flew in aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Similarly, narcotics officers attached to a courier company in Lagos discovered 500grammes of cocaine going to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and concealed inside the walls of packed cartons containing clothes.
