Burnaboy is seen either dragging fellow artists (Reekado Banks, Davido, and so on) to claim his seat as one of the best in the Nigerian music industry or speaking ill of the Nigerian government just like Fela-Anikulapo-Kuti. Burnaboy has once been banned from entering the UK where he studied before it was lifted years after. He was recently arrested with his father for causing too much noise in his neighborhood.

She has been in the bad view of the Nigerian public for being a transgender woman in a country with no LGBT rights.
