There are a lot of movies and Tv shows that are coming out this February (2023). After enjoying our weekend list, let’s dive into our February list.
These are the ones we are anticipating:
1. Real Housewives of Abuja (Feb. 3) – Showmax
It follows the lives of six influential and successful women of Abuja. It encapsulates all aspects of their lives, relationships, families and businesses in Abuja.
Starting: Arafa, Comfort Booth, OJ Posharella, Princess Jecoco, Samantha Homossany and Tutupie
The Real Housewives Franchise is well known. After the warm reception of Real Housewives of Lagos, we hope to be more entertained from Abuja.
2. Dark October (Feb. 3) – Netflix
Based on a true story. Four university students get killed after being accused of theft. These deaths spark nationwide outrage.
Starring: Kelechukwu Oriaku, Kem-Ajieh Ikechukwu, Chibie Johnny, Boman Bognet
Director: Toka McBaror
Linda Ikeji is amongst the writers of this movie. We are ready to see what literary prowess she exhibits beyond blogging. This story seems like a tearjerker, so grab your tissues.
3. The Plan (Feb. 3) – Netflix
A young widow honours her late husband’s wish by protecting his stolen cache of gold. She enlists her two best friends, but can they be trusted?
Starring: Rahama Sadau, Rosaline Meurer, Onyinye Ezekwe, Ali Nuhu, Yakubu Mohammed, Mofe Duncan, Paul Sambo, Victor Dekka

It’s giving Sons of the Caliphate. Fans of the show will be happy to see Rahama Sadau reprise a similar role.
4. Before Valentines (Feb. 3) – Netflix
As Valentine’s Day approaches, four hairdressers working at a Lagos salon face outrageous dramas in their love lives and families.

Get ready to see not one but two BBNaija stars. Additionally, expect guest appearances from DJ Sose and Dr Sid. It is a comedy, so grab your seats before you fall off.
5. A Sunday Affair (Feb. 14) – Netflix
Two friends fall for the same guy. It causes them to reevaluate their friendship as they face a tragic revelation.

We are happy to see Alexx Ekubo grace our screen after his long hiatus due to the controversy surrounding his relationship with Fancy Ancholonu.
Although most these shows are on streaming platforms, they will still be showing in cinemas. Check your local cinemas for showing time.
