Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has hit hard at people who come live on camera just to cry.
Toke who expressed how depressing it has gotten shared this update on her Instagram page.
Toke Makinwa Asks Questions of Online Cryers
The 37-year-old shared a clip from her Youtube ‘Toke Moment‘, saying “I am sick and tired of people who record themselves crying online.
“Do you have a mental illness? Are they sick in your family? Is there something wrong with you? because I don’t get it… It doesn’t make any sense,” she said.
Toke further stated that the action is manipulative while advising people to stick with crying in their private space.
She, however, noted that everybody does cry but people do not really care when you do that online.
Toke Makinwa added that though some people think they are just being real with their feelings, she added that they have to go through a process before filming which makes it manipulative.
Toke wrote the caption, “Pls let’s leave this behaviour in the past. Why will you on your camera, go live, press record and start crying 😭 😂😂😂😂😂”
“Not trying to be mean but it is a cry for attention. Do you not have real friends? If you are crying why do you record it? 🙄”
