Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate, verbally attacked Funke Akindele (Jenifa), the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP (Lagos State).
The drama happened when he was about to deliver his speech at an event in Lagos then suddenly some praise singers and hype women interrupted his remark and started singing to hail Jenifa.
The APC Presidential Candidate allowed them to complete their song before sounding a stern warning that the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate shouldn’t be praised while he’s around.
He made it clear without a smile on his face and gave the notion that it is disrespectful for a person of his calibre to mount a podium for an address and is obstructed by hype singers.
However, the former Lagos State Governor did not necessarily take offence but cautioned that such an act was irresponsible and shouldn’t be repeated.
He later progressed with the speech while the congregation saw reason in what the influential politician said earlier.
