On Thursday, the Tinsel star was reported dead after a 5-year long illness that began after the car accident in 2016 that landed him in bed for five years.
The 69-year-old actor, who was best known for his role as ‘Fred Ade-Williams’ in the popular TV series, Tinsel, while driving to a movie set in 2016, was involved in an accident that took place around Apple Junction, in Festac, Lagos. Until his death, he had been battling for his life in a Turkish hospital for almost three years.
His widow, Mrs Julia Olaotan, broke the news of his death on Friday morning. She said she was grateful that her 69-year-old husband could finally go to rest after suffering for years.

The late Victor Olaotan was recently flown back to Nigeria, where his condition deteriorated when the family could no longer shoulder his medical expenses abroad.
