Flooding in Nigeria has come to an all-time high as heavy rainfall in some settlements in Jigawa State left over One Hundred and Twenty houses a complete disaster.

“The policemen arrived after 30 minutes. We arranged for their payment and called it police money. We also arranged for the cash driver and the cash movers.
“The incident started around 10 a.m. and razed down the entire house; properties worth millions of naira were burnt to ashes. This is sad,” he said.
